My toast for breakfast phase has faded and I've moved on to oatmeal and a green smoothie. Hope you try and enjoy this super easy recipe so delicious that it can be called dessert!
Dessert Oatmeal (for breakfast!)
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup water or almond milk
Stevia, to taste
2 tablespoons raisins
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter, optional
1 scoop ice cream of choice
1 teaspoon Blackstrap molasses, honey or syrup of choice
Microwave the oats, water or milk, stevia and raisins 1 1/2 minutes. Swirl the peanut butter, top the warm oatmeal with the ice cream and molasses.
Enjoy immediately.
Pina Colada Green Smoothie
1 cup almond milk
1 cup water
2 cups green leaf lettuce
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/4 tsp coconut extract
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
Stevia, to taste
Blend until smooth and enjoy! (Yields 3 cups)
